Industrial Security Guard Job at GardaWorld

What you'll be doing:
- Interior and exterior patrols
- Conducting daily functions of the security unit including access control, security escorts, responding to calls for service and report writing/note taking
- Provide keys and temporary pass to visitors/employees
- Liaising with visitors, customers. and the general public on a consistent basis
- Providing customer service information and assist in handling the questions of visitors
- Maintaining a positive, productive work environment through positive teamwork

What we re looking for:
- Valid Alberta Security Guard license
- Strong computer skills
- Customer service oriented
- Must be available any day of the week for 12 hour rotational shifts either days or nights
- Leadership and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a stressful environment
- Ability to stand on foot and walk for long periods of time
- Good verbal and written communication skills- High level of English is required
- Some Health Care sites require a N95 mask to be fit tested, which will require no facial hair for those working on site. Please note, if you are unable to remove your facial hair, you will not be selected for this site
- Reliable vehicle to get to site. Free parking.
