TRG has a permanent opportunity available for an Industrial Millwright to join our client team, based in Milton, Ontario! Our client is a leading manufacturer in the Food and Beverage industry, who manufacture and distribute a variety of delicious snacks!
This is a fast paced, career elevating opportunity for the successor to start ASAP!
Pay Rate: $58.71 per hour
Shift: 12 Hour Shift | 10:30am to 10:30pm
Schedule: Saturday and Sunday - Weekends
Job Duties:
- Utilize CMMS to receive, complete and close Work Orders, as well as order parts.
- Perform mechanical preventative maintenance on all facility equipment as assigned
- Respond promptly to breakdown calls and troubleshoot/repair the problems
- Perform breakdown analysis to create action plans to address root causes
- Perform mechanical maintenance activities safely and report unsafe conditions
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in maintenance shop
- Standing, walking, reaching and bending for periods of time across all areas of the facility, lifting up to 30lbs in a safe manner.
- Some repairs will be conducted in high or low temperature environments, depending on the location within the facility

What we need from you:
- Must have a valid Ontario industrial millwright trade license 433A
- Experience reading and troubleshooting based on mechanical diagrams and schematics drawings
- Experience using a CMMS to receive, complete and close Work Orders, as well as order parts.
- Minimum 2-5 years relevant working experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment would be considered a definite asset
- Experience fabricating and welding is considered a definite asset
- Must bring your own tools, a tool allowance is provided to replace tools.
- Experience with packaging equipment, specifically bagmakers is an asset.
