Inclusive Learning District On Call Teachers

Delta School District is accepting applications for qualified Inclusive Learning District On Call Teachers:

This is a 1.0 FTE contract position with full teacher benefits and is an opportunity to work at several schools throughout the school year. You will have the chance to work in short and long term assignments as they arise. You will also be required to fully participate in the Spring Staffing process to secure an assignment for the 2021-2022 school year.

Qualifications for this position:

Diploma or Masters in the area of Inclusive Education preferred OR at least three courses in the following areas:

• Theoretical foundations of inclusive Education
• Child & youth development and exceptionality such as developmental disability, physical disability, or ASD
• Inclusive instructional and assessment practices for diverse classrooms
• Social emotional learning and mental health related learning needs. This may include course work on trauma informed practice, various aspects of mental health or positive behavioural support.
• Queens Special Education Part 1 & 2 meets the qualifications for this position.
