Position

We are currently looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of hands-on experience with Recruitment initiatives and Health & Safety. We are seeking an efficient individual who is willing to show initiative in maintaining the workflow of ongoing daily operations. Essential duties, responsibilities and requirements include but are not limited to the following:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Full-Cycle recruitment of manufacturing and office staff.
• Use recruiting initiatives to recruit for top talent for our Manufacturing Facility, Office and Showrooms across Canada.
• On boarding of all new employees
• Assist the HR Dept in other areas such as Health & Safety and company polices as required.
• Oversee Joint Health & Safety Committee
• Steady completion of workload in a timely manner.
• Able to communicate with Hiring Managers
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma completed, College or Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of Recruitment background
• Knowledge of Health & Safety Regulations.
• Computer savvy; proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Previous experience with Kitchen Cabinets is an asset.
• Time Management skills and Organization is an asset; able to prioritize tasks and complete tasks in a timely orderly fashion.
• Detailed-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Personable and able to work effectively with others both internal and external to the organization.
