What we're looking for

We're searching for an exceptional individual to join our team as a Lead Housekeeper in Whistler, BC. This person is a hard-working individual who will embody our values while maintaining the supreme cleanliness of our homes. This person will manage a small group of housekeepers in Whistler, BC and work closely with the local management team.

What you'll do

  • Assist with managing housekeeping operations in Whistler, BC creating a welcoming environment for our guests and owners by ensuring homes are clean and cared for.
  • Conduct regular quality control inspections prior to guest and owner arrivals
  • Assist with scheduling, distribution of tickets, ordering and organizing supplies, as assigned by the manager
  • Manage an efficient and high-quality team of housekeeping personnel ensuring all are trained, effective, and adhere to Vacasa policies and procedures
  • Train and monitor use of company softwares such as housekeeping, payroll and room inspection tools.
  • Meet and maintain Vacasa standards and metrics such as NPS, standard unit appearance, and efficiency
  • Support your team with escalated guest and homeowner concerns by responding to emails, calls, and tickets
  • As required, professionally clean and maintain Vacasa properties using cleaning procedures and products in conformance with prescribed company standards
  • Establish and maintain open, collaborative relationships within your department and throughout the company.
  • Provide cross-coverage for your manager and Co-Lead(s) when necessary
  • Other responsibilities as assigned - because every day looks different

  • Availability to work Sunday through Saturday, early mornings and evenings as needed.

  • Prior housekeeping experience preferred although we can teach you the Vacasa standard
  • Ability to stand, sit, and walk for an extended period of time.
    • Reach overhead and below the waist
    • Push, pull, and lift less than or equal to 20 pounds
    • Bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and twist
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Reasonable comfort level with computers and smart devices
    • Access to the internet and the ability to check your email on a daily basis

Compensation:

  • $24.50 CAD/hr
  • $1000 SIGN ON BONUS! Paid in two segments - $500 paid after 30 days of employment. $500 paid after 90 days of employment.
