Housekeeping-Custodian (Part Time) Job at Royal Colwood Golf Club
The Royal Colwood Golf Club is looking to add to our team a Part Time Housekeeping/Custodial Attendant. The position is responsible for the daily presentation and cleanliness of The Clubhouse and its outer buildings.
Qualifications/Responsibilities:
· Maintain a professional manner at all times and be able to complete duties assigned to you in a timely manner and as per the cycle of service as much as possible.
· Maintain a positive attitude – smile and help others, Member's or fellow staff, where you can and as time permits
· Must have an eye for detail, takes initiative and likes to clean
· Duties include the usual hotel housekeeping/custodial service for member and public spaces of The Clubhouse and outer buildings, such as washrooms and locker rooms with showers, vacuuming, dusting and mopping, lifting tables and moving other light furniture daily for vacuuming, lots of vacuuming, removing garbage, laundry and drive a golf cart daily.
· Other work, such as inside windows, banquet set-up support, Christmas decorating and peak seasons will happen throughout the year and may provide extra hours.
· This position requires the individual to work independently to a specific schedule set out in a cycle of service according to Member's use.
· The position requires the individual to open the main gate and The Clubhouse no later than 6am for Members and staff
· The individual must be able to deal with a clogged toilet and light bulb change
· Experience not necessary as training will be provided
· Transportation an asset due to early start time
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24-32 per week
Salary: From $20.00 per hour
