Housekeeping Coordinator - BCE Job at Civeo
Buffalo Catering Employees LP is currently seeking interested candidates to fill a vacant Housekeeping Coordinator position/s at Wapasu Lodge. The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
Key Responsibilities
- Build, strengthen and maintain excellent communication skills with all members of staff.
- Provide guidance to fellow staff, lead by example.
- Ensure quality and standards are being met / exceeded.
- Collect sheets from Housing Office.
- Assign rooms to the Housing / Retail Workers.
- Prepare morning briefing.
- Clean rooms and/or washrooms.
- Conduct the training program with the new hires.
- Prepare the night shift rooms list.
- Check the linen count for Laundry pickup and delivery days.
- Lead safety meetings.
- Inspect facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.
- Assist with inventory as required.
- Determine areas of improvement within housekeeping.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills in a fast paced environment.
- Self-motivated.
- Previous supervisory experience is an asset.
- Punctual and dependable.
- Physically and mentally fit to work long hours, up to 20 days consecutively.
- Willing to move up and learn new skills.
- Ability to work a 20/10 rotation.
