Position Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting Guests and seating them in a prompt and courteous manner, while maintaining a professional attitude. A Cashier/Host(ess) with the Frontier BBQ and Smokehouse should be knowledgeable about the restaurant and different food items and be able to answer Guest inquiries about the restaurant. The Cashier/Host(ess) will also be responsible for taking the payment, via cash, credit or debit and thanking all Guests for visiting the restaurant. Ensuring that all Guests feel welcomed and respected will be a priority of the Cashier/Host(ess).

Experience

• Previous experience as a Cashier in a past-paced environment is considered an asset

Skills

• Cash handling experience is an asset
• Team work oriented
• Strong Guest service skills
• Superb interpersonal and communication skills

• Positive and professional attitude

Requirements

• Must be available weekends, long weekends, holidays
• Must be able to successfully complete a backcheck to the hotel's satisfaction
