Residential Care Professional Required

Clients Medical Status

· 91 year old male who weighs approximately 225 lbs

· Positive personality who is quick witted and pleasant

· Mild stroke survivor with limited mobility

· He can turn himself in bed and assist with getting into his wheelchair using a lift assist

· Mild, short term dementia but follows instructions readily

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Assistance with grooming, dressing and bathing
• Assistance with toileting using a mobile lift device
• Memory Care
• Assist with physiotherapy exercises
• Assist with lift transfers
• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation and grocery shopping when required
• Medication and appointment reminders

Requirements to be a Care Professional:

• HCA (Health Care Aide) certification is required
• Ability to treat and care for a senior and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with client in a friendly and congenial manner
• Complete a criminal background check, a vulnerable sector check, 3 professional and personal references
• Possess a valid driver's license is a must
