Job Description:

• Repair a variety of heavy equipment, including highway trucks and trailers, excavators, dozers, loaders, rock trucks, skid steers, wash plants, and crushing equipment.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on all equipment including mechanical, electrical and hydraulic repairs.
• Conduct repairs in shop or on various site locations.
• Maintain accurate record of time and equipment repaired

Requirements:

• Minimum of four years verifiable experience, working on the types of equipment listed in job description.
• Provide own tools up to and including ½” drive, both Metric and Standard wrenches.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license, Class 1 or 3 with airbrake endorsement an asset.
• A clear commercial abstract, or less than three moving violations within three years.
• Possess a Professional attitude / Able to work well with others as a member of a team.
• Able to multi-task and maintain attention to detail
• Capable of following directions.
• Willing to work extra hours to get time sensitive projects completed.
• Compliance with our Safety Program (Diamond is a COR certified company)

Work Conditions:

• Majority of work performed indoors in fully equipped shop.
• Outdoor work as required, conditions may include heat, cold, rain, dust and noise.
• Work can be physically demanding.
