Health and Safety Assistant
Monday-Friday 8am- 4:30pm
Starting wage of $18.00+ per Hour dependent on qualifications
All necessary training will be provided.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Assist with developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures, Safe Work Procedures and Job Safety Analyses
- Assist with improving safety training
- Maintaining training, incident and return to work records
- Research safety legislation to ensure compliance
- Maintain a safe work environment by following safety policies, rules and regulations
- Assist in employee safety training
Employment requirements:
- Minimum educational requirement: High school diploma
- Previous Health and Safety experience/schooling considered an asset
- Strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn
- Demonstrates a positive attitude
- Team player
