Starting Rate: $19.35/ hour! Pay range for General Labour is $19.35/hour to $22.50/hour. Cargill is offering a $3,000.00 sign on bonus in addition to other incentives to come join our team.

Shift: Monday to Friday (Straight days and afternoon shifts)

Principal Accountabilities:

• Ensuring food safety and quality
• Maintaining a safe work environment
• Trimming and cutting meat
• Assisting Machine Operator
• Picking, sorting, labeling, bagging, packing, lifting, weighing and boxing finished product
• Working with raw meat
• Ability to work in temperature controlled environments
• Cleanliness and housekeeping

· Comfortable working with raw meat; Beef, Pork & Chicken

· Ability to work in a cold environment (0-4 Celcius)

· Must be able to stand on your feet for 8 hours and complete physically repetitive labour in a fast paced environment

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

· Must be currently legally eligible to work in Canada

· Must be 18 years or older

Preferred Qualifications:

· Production experience

· Basic food safety knowledge is an asset

· Reliable and punctual

· Basic English
