Heritage Wood Restoration Inc. is a family run business with over 30 years in the log home industry. We provide a mobile log home restoration and maintenance service. We are located in Oro-Medonte, but provide services throughout Ontario including Simcoe County, Muskoka, Bruce Peninsula and the French River.
Services we provide include:
- Log home media blasting
- Staining and painting
- Log home chinking, chalking and energy sealing
- Power washing
- Brick and concrete sealer
- Wood preservation and insect deterrent
We are hiring for a General Labourer to work outdoors on a seasonal basis. The ideal candidate will be capable of working outdoors for 8 hours a day, with the potential for overtime. An individual with previous staining or painting experience is preferred. A valid drivers license is required with a reliable source of transportation to and from the shop. "Working at Heights" is required for this position, but new employees will be provided training as necessary. Students are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities includes:
- Prep of log homes (interior and exterior), taping windows, covering with plastic
- Filling sandblasting pot with media materials
- Staining and painting of log homes, docks and decks
- Cleaning up the job site once completed
- Arrange and prepare tools, equipment, vehicles, and supplies for use in work activities.
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Salary: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
