Hello Stratford and surrounding area. A.O. Smith Stratford location is looking for hard working employees to join our team in a full-time, permanent basis. In this position, employees will work either day shift - Monday to Friday from 6:30am to 3:00pm (5 x 8 hour shifts) or afternoon shift - Monday to Thursday from 2:45pm to 1:15am (4 x 10 hour shifts). The employee will likely learn a variety of tasks involved in producing our water pump tank products. A.O. Responsibilities include:
· Must be willing to learn and to perform necessary operations associated with job class three (3) such as packaging, scrape and test, load CD welder, and assembly press operation.
· Perform tasks safely and efficiently.
· Must be self-motivated to keep plant running efficiently.
· Promote and perform housekeeping.
· Abide by company rules and procedures.
· Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Skills:
· Experience in a manufacturing environment
· Welding experience is an asset
· Forklift License is an asset
· Advanced Health and Safety training is an asset
Education:
Grade 12 diploma / GED required

Salary: $21.46-$22.75 per hour
