Good Spirit School Division operates 27 schools in East Central Saskatchewan. We invite applications from Grade 10-12 teachers who have an expertise and passion for High School Practical and Applied Arts (Welding, Carpentry, Machining, Autobody, Mechanics, Drafting, Esthetics, Commercial Cooking) and are looking to work in GSSD for the 2023-2024 School Year. Applications to specific communities can be made as part of the application process. Current GSSD teachers on temporary contracts need not apply again.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Education degree and a Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching Certificate preferred.
- A Provisional Teaching Certificate with the Province of Saskatchewan may be acquired for applicants with Journeyperson Certification.
Interviews will be conducted upon application. Please note that GSSD may contact informal references not listed in your application package.
Applicants will be required to submit a recent (within the last six months) criminal record and vulnerable sector check acceptable to the Board of Education prior to offer of employment.
