Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Schedule: 40 hours a week

Role:

In this role, you can expect to work alongside individuals with developmental disabilities by providing professional support while engaging in activities within the community.

· Daily supports for individuals with developmental disabilities/dual diagnosis

· Facilitate and support person centred planning

· Driving individuals to activities and appointments

· Work with interdisciplinary team with goal of enhancing quality of life and teaching daily skills

· Implement communication and behavioural support plans

· Participate in a variety of recreational and physical activities that promote community involvement (including swimming, biking, skating, gymnastics, etc.)

· Teaching and coaching with the goal of full independence and social engagement

Qualifications:

· Diploma in human services field

· 2 years related experience (Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience)

· Demonstrating knowledge and understanding of Developmental Services Core Competencies

· Valid Ontario Full G License

· Experience and/or knowledge in Applied Behavioural Analysis and Safe Management Techniques preferred

· Certification in CPR/First Aid with AED

Salary: $24.65 per hour
