Qualifications:

• Proficient computer skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Sound fact-based decision making skills and problem solving ability, with a focus on safety and delivering results
• Ability to lead, motivate, influence, and train others
• Ability to interact with employees throughout various levels in the organization in a positive and professional manner
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize efficiently using effective time management and organizational skills

Requirements:

• Successful completion of a 120-day familiarization period.
• Successful completion of a Level 1 Forklift Course during the familiarization period.
• Ability to work on a rotating shift basis.
• Enroll in WHMIS Training Program.
• Physically capable of performing required duties,
  • Lifting, pulling, shoveling, pushing, climbing and piling of all types of materials as required.
  • Work in extreme temperatures, high humidity and dusty conditions.
  • Function in a noisy environment and wear hearing protection as required.
• Work with all required safety equipment.
• Demonstrate mathematical ability through the successful completion of a timed written test.
• Satisfactory past job performance.

Duties:

• Work under the direction of and report to the Production Supervisor/Foreman.
• Ability to work with Control Room Operator to take immediate action to maintain product in specification.
• Ensure that proper concentrations of ingredients are maintained in order to achieve desired product specifications.
• Conduct fryer boil-out as required.
• Complete all TQC (MQP) procedures and check sheets.
• Accurately relate/maintain all required documentation.
• Report all mechanical, operational and safety concerns promptly.
• Communicate with all departments as required.
• Perform all duties in a safe, accurate and efficient manner.
• Perform housekeeping of work area to maintain established standards.
• Provide help in other areas of production as required.
• All other duties as assigned.
