Our client, a bowling alley located in the West End, is currently looking a Part-Time Front Desk Clerk (24 hours per week) to join their team to assist with an increased workload. There is also a possibility to have full-time hours depending on performance and capabilities.

Required skills and qualifications:

• 1-year experience in retail, customer service and/or hospitality
• Must be comfortable working on statutory holidays
• Previous experience taking reservations
• Keen attention to details and accuracy
• Experience with a POS system is an asset
• Open to feedback / constructive criticism
• Ability to multi-task and willingness to learn
• Can-do attitude
• Team player

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Mark reservations for customers in a book
• Process payments
• Answer incoming phone calls
• Assist at the front desk – serving customers and handing out shoes
• Organize reservations and schedules
• Track bowling lane availability
• Guide customers/waitlist during tournaments
• Perform other administrative tasks as assigned

The starting wage for this position is $20.00 per hour.

Schedule:

Every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday to start – 9:00am to 5:00pm – After approximately 1 month, the schedule would change to Monday – Friday

Please note that the part-time schedule is not flexible.
