Fresh Cut Production Supervisor Job at Champion Staffing Services
Our client in the Produce industry is looking for an experienced Fresh Cut Production Supervisor to help grow and lead the team in their Calgary Office! You should be motivated, a team player and has strong leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
● Support the Fresh Cut Production Manager in planning and implementation of fresh cut processes.
● Ensure employees adhere to proper Food Safety and OHS protocols.
● Submit daily and weekly labour hours daily to staffing agencies and management.
● Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
● Read and analyze work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs.
● Other responsibilities relevant to the position will be assigned as required.
Qualifications:
● 2 years experience of Produce Industry, Fresh Cut Production, Food Processing in a supervisory Role.
● Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or relevant field is preferred
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Proven attention to detail and problem-solving skills
● Hands on experience or certification with BRC, SQF, PRIMUS, HACCP, GMP, SOPs, CCPs.
● Ability to lift 30-40lbs
● Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
● Proficiency in MS programs – specifically on Excel and Outlook
● Open availability, including evenings, weekends and statutory holidays
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift

- Calgary, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
