We are a small team in a boutique style shop, looking for someone to fill a roll of flower shop assistant AND/OR delivery driver. Idealy would like an individual who can fill both roles, please not when applying if you only want one position.

We work hard, take our jobs seriously, but like to have fun along the way. We spend a lot of time together so someone who we can all get along with is important. No egos here!!

Hours and workload will vary depending on time of year and holidays

Task as flower shop assistant- include , but not limited too

Answering phones, and taking orders, arranging deliveries. Assisting customers in store. Receiving and processing fresh flowers. Receiving and unpacking hard goods. General plant care, maintaining a clean workspace, and retail space. Assisting designers as needed (ie prepping containers, pulling product and quality control). Communicating orders and updates to designers, and maintaining workflow and prioratizing tasks as things are ever changing. Updating product on website, removing sold out items, adding new items, occasional social media updates. Pay starts a 15, with room for growth

Delivery Driver tasks - delivering flowers/plants on as needed basis. Our clients determine the schedule, and delivery needs vary day to day. Most deliveries are done in Cochrane, but we do also go into surrounding towns, communities as well as Calgary. We offer delivery 6 days a week. Our driver need to be reliable, comfortable calling customers as needed. And most importantly take the utmost care of the flowers. Pay is a flat rate per delivery, rate depends on location. Flat rate throughout Cochrane, rates for father deliveries to be discussed and agreed upon before proceeding. Occasional pick up of product from suppliers in Calgary would also be ideal.

Preference for someone who is familiar and local to Cochrane. This job is ideal for someone with some flexibility in their schedule.
