Job Description


Under the responsibility of the Chief Corporate Controller, the Financial Analyst will assist in all aspects of the analysis and management of accounting operations for the group's entities. The tasks of the financial analyst are grouped into 3 components: analysis, monthly recurring activities and process optimization:

  • Produce the consolidated financial statements of the company on a monthly basis;
  • Participate in the ERP migration project:
    • Validate that the processes put in place are adequate with the help of complete tests
    • Ensure the validity of the data transferred from one system to the other
  • Participate in the annual budget process of the different entities;
  • Participate in the year-end audit process;
  • Produce semi-annual reports on the profitability of the distribution centers and on asset purchases;
  • Participate in various analyses and special mandates as required:
    • Profitability and feasibility analysis (ROI)
    • Create new reports or KPIs using tools such as Power BI
  • Assist the finance team in the implementation of new solutions that improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting or finance option;
  • CPA designation (or in process - candidate to the profession);
  • Minimum 2 years of accounting experience (corporate experience is an asset);
  • Experience in the manufacturing field (an asset);
  • Bilingualism, oral and written (knowledge of English is required in order to respond to customers and suppliers based in the United States and outside Quebec);
  • Experience working with an ERP system (an asset);
  • Good knowledge of Excel;
  • Excellent analytical skills;
  • Strong organizational skills and respect for deadlines;
  • Ability to work in a team;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt quickly.
