Home Care Assistance has an opportunity for a caregiver/PSW. We have a part time position available for many weekday evening shifts available in the Greater Toronto Area.

Care is for a male client with Dementia living in retirement home from Monday to Friday 4pm-8pm. Assistance is needed but not limited to personal care and hygiene, companionship and engagement, meals, redirection and reorientation, support through sundowning.

Job Requirements:

We're looking for the best! Heres what we'd like to see:

• At least 2 year of elderly caregiving experience
• PSW Certificate or other relevant training
• Availability for at least one weekend day
• Must be comfortable with the physical demands of the role, including the ability to assist clients with lifts/transfers, standing, walking, sitting and repositioning.
• A positive attitude and the ability to prioritize client’s needs.
• Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check

• Provide a balanced approach to care
