iCleaners Commercial Cleaning Services has been changing the game when it comes to office cleaning services in the Greater Hamilton Area for over 9 years. We are a locally owned, proud Hamiltonian based, commercial cleaning and building service company.

Who we are looking for:

On-Call Commercial Cleaners.

What is an On-Call Commerical Cleaner?

On-Call cleaners are offered work on an ‘as-needed’ basis, and often with short notice when regular cleaners are absent from work (see our other roles to apply to be a regular cleaner). Evening work is needed as well as Saturdays. It is our expectation that On-Call Commerical Cleaners will have regular availability to accept assignments.

Bonus points if you are regularly available Wednesday - Friday from 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM - 02:00 PM.

On-Call Commercial Cleaners are responsible for:

• Collect garbage/recycling and any loose trash
• Clean washrooms
• Sweep and mop flooring
• Vacuum carpet
• Detail dusting
• Disinfecting work surfaces
• Clean glass, and
• Clean stairwells

Basic Qualifications:

• Previous cleaning experience.
• Availability to work two evenings between Monday and Friday per week, and two Saturdays per month.
• A valid G-class driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
• A cell phone with data.
• Not afraid of hard work.
• You take showing up on time, every time, seriously.
• Rock-solid attendance.
• You are dedicated and care about the work.
• Ability to work efficiently and respond quickly to changing priorities.
• Positive attitude.
• Strong attention to detail is a must.
• Excellent communication skills - understand verbal and written English.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding role.
• Authorised to work in Canada.
• An original Police Record Check acceptable to iCleaners.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Highly organised and detail-oriented.
• Willing and able to learn new skills quickly.
• Have the ability to work and learn in high traffic areas.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Schedule:

Operating hours are 06:00 PM - 10:00 PM Monday through Friday; 10:00 AM - 02:00PM Saturdays.

Rate of Pay:

$20 per hour Monday through Friday

$25 per hour Saturday

Location:

Various commercial facilities in the Greater Hamilton area (Hamilton, Stoney Creek and Ancaster).

This is not a work from home position.
