MacEwen is a growing family-owned company that has established itself as an industry leader. We’ve been around for 45 years and we are still going strong! We have openings for Fuels and Propane Delivery Drivers to serve our growing customer base. This is a highly respected role in our company as we recognize our operations are great because of our professional drivers.

This is a full-time, seasonal role, working evenings from now to the end of April, 2023 from 3:00 to 11: 00 pm, Monday to Friday from our Belleville division, including occasional weekends and part of the on-call rotation schedule.

In this role you will:

• Ensure safe and timely delivery of petroleum products and propane to residential and commercial customers.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping including product delivery, maintenance of logbooks, and transportation of dangerous goods reports.
• Preload trucks for the following morning.
• Along with performing mandatory circle checks, maintain the cleanliness of the truck, cab, and work location.
• Share all pertinent information with dispatch including improvement suggestions for safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Obey all legal and company regulations affecting the operation of motor vehicles.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma.
• Valid DZ license.
• Minimum of 2 years of commercial DZ driving experience with propane and liquid bulk.
• Clean driver’s abstract and acceptable CVOR.
• Mechanical inclination is desirable.
• Ability and willingness to be cross-trained on fuel and propane deliveries as well as tank installations, etc.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; position requires frequent bending and moving heavy loads.
• Local geographical knowledge is required.
• Positive and humble attitude.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Demonstrates a safety-first approach to the role.
