Hersey Bins is currently seeking DZ Truck Drivers to join our rapidly growing team!

We are looking for an experienced and dependable Truck Driver to join our Hersey team. You will safely and efficiently drive a large commercial vehicle delivering roll off bins to construction job sites and homeowners throughout the Tri-city Area and surroundings. All safety regulations and standards regarding size, and weight must be followed. Our ideal candidate has an DZ licence and has previous training in operating with roll off bins and driving.

Your responsibilities:

• Exude a positive, professional attitude towards customers, public and co-workers.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Effectively communicate with dispatcher, co-workers, and customers.
• Keep equipment clean and in good condition.
• Perform mandatory circle checks, pre trip and post trip and monthly inspections.
• You are honest, reliable, hard-working, co-operative, and safety conscious.

We require:

• Valid Driver's License and a clean driving abstract is mandatory.
• DZ license
• Friendly and courteous with excellent people skills.
• Must be customer focused and customer service oriented.
• Thorough knowledge of safe driving procedures and traffic laws.
• Understanding of geographical locations.
• Able to operate a tablet.
• Good communication skills and able to take direction.
• Knowledge of Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge and Guelph areas.
• Roll-off experience preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From $23.00 per hour
