Take Another Bite is searching for a committed full-time dishwasher / kitchen helper for our kitchen on Colonnade Road.
Schedule is 7am-3pm, with some weekends. We are closed on Statutory Holidays.
This position involves:
- Cleaning of the kitchen, equipment, coolers & storage areas
- Extensive dishwashing, by hand and with an automatic dishwasher
- General cleaning of all areas of the store, including washrooms, storage areas and front café area
- Daily laundry, including uniforms & kitchen cloths
- Garbage removal (not after dark)
- Sweeping & mopping of floors on a daily basis
- Maintaining legislated food hygiene and safety practices
- Fast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a smile
- Notifying kitchen manager when cleaning supplies & products need to be ordered
- Assisting the kitchen team as required
What is required:
- Ability to work in physically demanding and busy kitchen environments
- Be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- A motivated, enthusiastic and positive ‘can-do’ attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced time-sensitive environment
