Our prestigious client in Mississauga is looking to expand their team and are looking for a director of logistics & commercial performance to join their team

As the director of logistics & commercial performance you will be responsible for providing the strategic direction of the Product Line’s Commercial and Logistics functions, leading their business cycles

In addition, you will have a leadership role in the promotion of key initiatives such as the Recycled Aggregates Development Strategy, Logistic Decarbonization Plan and the TMS and related digital logistics programs.

.This position will provide strong sales leadership and expertise in addition to organizing team coaching and training sessions aiming to enhance our commercial acumen and to set pricing and volume strategies to meet budgeted EBIT and other key Performance objectives.

You must promote at all times a positive safety culture through exemplary leadership

The L&C PM will define, develop, and implement a digital strategy aimed at creating a unique customer value proposition in Aggregates centered on a best in class logistics operation.

The L&C PM will be responsible for developing and driving the commercial roadmap and business planning cycle for both Aggregates and Asphalt Product Lines,

The L&C PM will identify and organize relevant training and development programs focused on the ongoing professionalization of our Commercial and logistics teams.

The L&C PM contributes proactively towards the greater goals of the business and promotes collaboration among peers to maximize the total value to ECAN.

The L&C PM is a liaison with logistics teams, suppliers and haulers in order to source out the right strategic partners in the market and obtain favorable market pricing.

The L&C PM is a key driver and performance influencer for all Aggregate projects, especially around business transformation with a special focus on Sustainability (Recycled Aggregates and Decarbonization) and Digital (TMS).

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in business, Engineering, or Logistics. MBA is an asset
• Minimum 10 years of experience in marketing and sales or related field
• Experience in Operations with logistics background or B2B marketing (in addition to B2C) an asset
• Excellent analytical capabilities
• Proven project management skills
• Industry specific knowledge
• Ability to develop effective internal and external relations

Salary: $145,000.00-$155,000.00 per year
