Responsibilities: :
• Think creatively to develop design solutions while following brand standard documents
• Conceptualize, develop and produce concepts for a range of digital mediums including websites, landing pages, web banners, mobile apps, marketing promotions, digital signage, email communications, social media assets, online advertising, eCommerce and internal communications
• Plan, develop and execute digital campaigns for online advertising, web site strategy and social media
• Work closely with and give feedback to external Web Developers to ensure quality of projects
• Receive feedback and collaborate with members of the Marketing, Communication and other Internal Teams to ensure projects are meeting objectives
• Build compelling digital animations for use across platforms
• Identify opportunities to improve user and customer experience
• Confidently present and articulate design concepts to various stakeholders while defending choices and challenging ideas
• Work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and conceptual development
• Stay up to date on design trends in the digital landscape and share findings with team

Skills and Experience: :
• College or University degree in Design or similar field
• 3-5 years experience working in a similar role
• Portfolio that demonstrates a wide variety of digital, web and mobile projects
• Ability to work with software such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe CC, InVision
• Deep understanding of user experience and responsive design best practices
• Experience designing for platforms such as Shopify and Squarespace
• Experience with design accessibility and building design systems
• Experience collaborating with technical and non-technical partners

Nice to Have :
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and Javascript
• Illustration skillset considered an asset

• Print design / print production skillset considered an asset
