Adamson Systems Engineering is a vertically integrated manufacturer with a broad range of production technologies, located in beautiful Port Perry, Ontario. We manufacture a broad range of live performance audio equipment used in concerts and on stages around the world.

The Development Engineer joins a team of dedicated engineers with the goal of pushing the envelope of what is possible with professional audio products. Success in this role requires a strong interest in acoustics, mathematics and the drive to perform in a competitive industry.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, testing and analysis in all acoustic aspects of product design
• Building prototypes and sourcing material for new products relating to bills of material
• Participate in the innovation, development, and design of new products
• Support a team of engineers, productions staff and research and development with your expertise
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science or equivalent
• Fluent in 3D modeling software (Inventor, Solidworks, etc.)
• Experience with FEA / BEM Software (Comsol, Ansys, etc.)
• Familiar with acoustic principles
• The ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent organizational, communication, leadership and mentoring abilities through proven employment experience
• Strong, analytical, computer and problem-solving skills
