Delivery Driver Job at Smart Global Staffing
Job Duties
* Operate and drive company cargo vans and deliver various products
* Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicle
* Assist other drivers in loading and unloading of vehicle
* Check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate.
* Record information on deliveries, vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems encountered
* Communicate effectively with the public, customers, and co-workers both verbally and in written form
* Ensure that material is properly protected from the outdoor elements
* Deliver to product to customers in a courteous and timely manner
Requirements
* Valid G Class Driver’s License with clean record
* 1-year courier delivery driver and cargo van experience preferable
* Flexible to work various days/hours
* Strong work ethic
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Must be able to work with little supervision; must be self-directed
* Safety Vest will be provided
* Overtime as required
* Weekend flexibility required
* Ability to lift up to 50 pound
