JK Trucking is seeking professional Class One Drivers to join our dynamic team. Currently we have a 3 fulltime positions available on our Calgary to Abbotsford Run. You would be home every other night. This route mainly run Monday to Saturday and allow our drivers time at home over the weekend.
JK trucking is a locally owned and operated business, Established in 1999. We provide logistics for many commodities and Industries. The best thing about working at JK is the people and the team culture. We value all our team mates and believe in flexibility around individual scheduling requirements.
Requirements:
-Class 1 license with at least 2-year Mountain experience
-Acceptable drivers abstract
-Professional driving skills
-Effective communication and organizational skills
-Ability to manage the physical demands of the role
Job Duties:
-Pre and Post Trip inspections
-Communicate with dispatch team
-Complete paperwork (BOLS)
-Preventive maintenance
-Defensive driving
-Operate equipment in a safe manner
-Update electronic logs
In-House Training:
-Federal Hours of Service
-Cargo Securement
-Safety Laws
-Trip Inspections
-On road training will be provided
