We are looking for a Customer Service Representative at our Walker Compost Facility location in Arthur, ON.

Reporting directly to the Packaging Operations Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for performing various administrative and order entry tasks that support the site’s customer service, production and logistics functions. The duties will focus mostly on order entry, processing bill of ladings, and data entry as requested by management. This is a permanent, full-time position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicating with customers to take orders and answer inquiries.
  • Verify product orders and process sales orders within the Oracle business management system.
  • Process bill of ladings and orders within OTM.
  • Generate production reports.
  • Complete general administrative duties to support office activities including but not limited to documenting, reporting and filing.
  • Perform data entry tasks at the request of management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school graduation or equivalent, post-secondary education an asset.
  • 1-2 years of experience in an office environment.
  • Experience executing sales orders within an Accounting or Business Systems program is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Initiative and ownership with strong judgement to identify and resolve problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to pay close attention to detail, ensuring work is completed correctly and thoroughly.
  • Able to work under direction but also to take discretionary action under special circumstances.
