Customer Service Manufacturing Experience Job at HPG LP

The Customer Service is the direct point of contact for HPG customers via telephone and email. Response time / acknowledgement to customer requests must be relayed back to the customer within a 48 hour window. The Customer Service must be cognizant of open sales orders, statuses, sales volume, and pertinent contact information and will be able to intelligently respond to customer needs frequently with assistance from other departments. Customer Service support - 50% , Purchase and Planning support 50%.

Job Responsibilities

  • Attend daily Planning meeting
  • Monitor acknowledge, and maintain customer portals
  • Communicate customer activities to the President and Director of Materials
  • Enter/ review customer PO’s, establish Sales Orders in NAV (identify discrepancies), customer purchase order management
  • Ensure timely and through responses / inquiries to customers both external and internal
  • Handle RMA procedures
  • Support HPG Sales representatives
  • Respond to Customer Service calls
  • Quote activities
  • Retrieve RFQ’s
  • Collaborate in conjunction with Engineering Dept, quote follow up, maintain quote backlog
  • New customer set up
  • Coordinate customer / prospect survey / NDA’s within inner departments Marketing activities / support
  • Distribute Customer surveys / compile results
  • Maintain Sales Portals
  • Support Shipping and Receiving personnel at month end for processing inbound and outbound orders.
  • Publishstrategic performance metrics and targets that are consistent with company goals
  • Support President as requested

Work Conditions

Front office work with some shop floor presence if required

Requirements

  • High School or Trade School Certificate preferred
  • Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution
  • Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret goals, objectives, and policies
  • Ability to work within a team environment to support team goals
  • Ability to identify issues and implement creative and strategic solutions to overcome problems
  • Ability to remain calm and poised in urgent situations

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
