Commercial Tire Technician Mobile Service - Calgary, AB

Our company is the largest independently owned tire dealer in Canada. We are looking for driven problem solvers who not only have strong technical skills, but who are good communicators and thrive in the service industry. The successful candidate will represent Kal Tire providing dispatched and fleet tire service for a wide variety of equipment, trucks and trailers. Kal Tire will provide a thorough training program to get you there safely.

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Perform tire removal, installation and repair services safely for all industrial and specialty vehicles. This includes removing wheel assemblies, dismounting tires, inflating and installing repaired, or, replacement tires, and reinstalling wheel assemblies according to standard operating procedures.
• Conduct diagnostics, evaluate reparability of damage, choose and complete proper repair method.
• You continually strive to provide exceptional customer service and exceed every client’s expectations.
• You are a self-starter and able to manage your time effectively
• You are a problem solver who takes pride in your accomplishments
• You have the ability to excel in a physically demanding environment that includes heavy lifting and moving constantly throughout your shift. You may be required to work in extreme weather conditions.
• You have a mechanical aptitude and take pride in maintaining your own vehicle and tools.
• You understand the products and service we can provide to customers and make recommendations for both when appropriate
• You are willing and able to accept service calls at any time of the day or night based on the time demands of our customers.
• You are methodical and patient in your approach; you have a keen eye for detail.
• Safety is paramount – you contribute and adhere to a safe and environmentally responsible work space.
• You have several years of driving experience and hold a clean Driver’s Abstract.
