POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This position requires the Custodian to maintain the physical school plant and grounds in a safe, clean, comfortable,
attractive, and efficient condition within the guidelines, regulations, and policies of the Louis Riel School Division.
REQUIRED AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: •
completion of Grade 10 education; completion of Grade 12 is preferred •
six months of related experience •
ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions •
ability to respond effectively to the public and school staff •
good communication skills •
ability to operate power and manual cleaning equipment and tools •
ability to work effectively as a team member and with little supervision
knowledge of WHMIS preferred
