MACHINISTE - OPÉRATEUR DE MACHINE CNC (Operateur et réglage)

Relevant directement de son superviseur, le machiniste est responsable d’effectuer le set up et opérer notre fraiseuse CNC, tour CNC, ou Routeur CNC, selon la direction du superviseur du département. Le machiniste travaillera en collaboration avec d’autres machinistes (operateurs, programmeurs, et machiniste conventionnelle), notre département de production, et le département de génie mécanique afin de fabriquer l’équipement et pièces dont nos machines et lignes de production d’emballages ont besoin.

VOICI QUELLES SERAIENT VOS PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILITÉS SI VOUS JOIGNIEZ NOTRE EQUIPE :

• Lire et interpréter les schémas et les instructions de travail.
• Effectuer le réglage et opérer notre fraiseuse CNC, tour CNC, ou toupie CNC.
• Vérification dimensionnelle des pièces usinées à l'aide d'instruments tels que les micromètres et les pieds à coulisse.
• Ébavurage et ponçage des pièces finies.
• Autres tâches et responsabilités qui relèvent des compétences et de l'expertise du candidat.
• Tâches diverses dans l'atelier
• Effectuer l'entretien des machines et des équipements.

MACHINIST – CNC MACHINE OPERATOR (operator and set-up man)

ABOUT YOUR POTENTIAL NEW CAREER OPPORTUNITY

Reporting directly to the department supervisor, the machinist is responsible for setting up and operating our CNC milling machine, CNC lathe, or CNC router, as directed by the department supervisor. The Machinist will work in collaboration with other machinists (operators, programmers, and conventional machinists), our production department, and the mechanical engineering department to manufacture the equipment and parts required for our packaging machines and production lines.

HERE ARE WHAT YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WOULD BE IF YOU JOINED THE TEAM:

• Read and interpret the blueprints and work instructions.
• Set-up and operate CNC Mill or CNC Lathe or CNC Router.
• Dimensional verification of machined parts using instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
• Deburring and sanding of finished parts.
• Perform daily maintenance on equipment and machinery.
• Other tasks and responsibilities which fall within the applicant skills and expertise.
• Miscellaneous shop duties

COULD YOU BE OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE? HERE’S A GLIMPSE OF WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Completed DEP(DVS) or ASP(AVS) in Machining or equivalent
• Experience as a CNC operator set up man
• Proficiency using calipers, micrometers and measuring instruments to examine parts adequately.
• Knowledge of the cutting tools.
• Bilingual – French and English.
• Detail oriented
• Good team player
• Strong time management skills.
• Willingness to learn new skills.
