Your future duties and responsibilities

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
MUST HAVE
  • Minimum 5 years+ in related cloud engineering experience.
  • Education: College/Bachelor in Computer Science, information technology or related technical certifications.
  • Strong in the domain of container ecosystems (Kubernetes, AKS, OpenShift, Nomad, Docker, rkt, Swarm, etc.) and managed public cloud offerings of such systems.
  • Proficiency with tools such as GitHub, JIRA, Confluence, and Continuous Integration (CI) systems.
  • Strong technical knowledge and subject matter expertise in Microsoft's Azure, Azure ARM Templating and Azure DevOps Pipeline implementation. Experience with Azure Firewalls, ExpressRoute & IPSec Tunnels, Virtual WAN, WAF and other network and security components of Azure will be valuable.
  • Strong technical knowledge and subject matter expertise in Windows Server, Linux/Unix and Middleware components.
  • Great at facilitating and influencing technical delivery teams on cloud, containerization and microservice best practices and onboard onto cloud pipelines.
  • Ability to migrate applications to containers and cloud native platforms.
  • Bash, PowerShell, groovy, python or other high-level scripting languages.
  • Expertise with Terraform, ARM, and Cloud Formation Templates.
  • Hands-on usage of Ansible, Chef, Puppet or other configuration as code platforms.
  • Experience with modern software practices such as TDD, CI/CD, etc.
  • Working experience with microservice architectures.
  • Demonstrated history of architecting cross-cloud SaaS, IaaS or PaaS environments.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise application development and delivery.
  • 3-5 years experience developing in a other languages such as Java, .Net Core, GoLang, Scala, Clojure etc.
