RBC Dominion Securities (RBC DS) is currently seeking a Client Solutions Specialist to join the Ottawa region team. Proactively working with all RBC DS branches within the region, the Client Solutions Specialist role is designed to help transition RBC DS clients to the home of best fit within RBC. You will be responsible for understanding the individual needs of clients by engaging in deep discovery discussions and recommending the right home of best fit for every client situation.
Please note: This is a hybrid role where the successful candidate has the capability to work from home 50% of the time, after an initial 4 days/week in branch period of 3 months.
What will you do?
Reach out to clients and engage in deep discovery discussions
- Determine the home of best fit for each client and ensure smooth transition when referring to RBC partners
- Ensure client inquires and administrative tasks are acted upon in a timely and efficient manner and that all activity is recorded in the contact management system
- Develop strong collaborative relationships with colleagues across all RBC platforms
- Liaise with RBC DS management and advisory teams to facilitate client transitioning
- Engage in RBC DS branch presentations regarding the CSS program
Must-have
- Approval as a Registered Representative (RR) or Investment Representative (IR) with IIROC
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
- Superior time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
- Dedication to teamwork and collaboration
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of RBC’s investment products and service offering among all platforms (e.g. RBC Direct Investing, RBC InvestEase, RBC Royal Bank, RBC Dominion Securities, RBC Insurance, etc.)
