Class 1 Flatdeck Highway Owner Operators Job at Marpole Transport Ltd
Marpole Transport Ltd. based out of Delta, B.C. is actively recruiting Owner Operator Class 1 Flatdeck Drivers. We have an open position to fill BC Lower Mainland runs to WA/OR, Northern and Interior BC and Vancouver Island throughout the year.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform pre and post and in route trip inspections on equipment operated, ensuring safety, roadworthiness and regulatory compliance.
- Comply with applicable legislation including safe operation load securement (strapping, chaining, tarping), driver’s hours of service and occupational health and safety.
- Record, Maintain and Check all relevant paperwork (i.e., Bill of Lading) and documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate.
- Must have bunk to overnight stay when required.
- Must be able to haul 60,000+ LBS and the ability to adapt to all weather and road conditions.
YOU POSSESS:
- Class 1 Driver License.
- Flatdeck driving experience (Super B Train) minimum 3+ year experience with relatively claim free abstract within 3 years.
- Valid Passport.
- Ability to pass drug screen when required.
- Always conducts themselves with a professional demeanor to protect an appropriate corporate image in all dealings with customers and the general public.
- Strong communication and customer service skills with English fluency.

Salary: $160,000.00-$230,000.00 per year
