Lethbridge Hatchery is looking for an experienced and qualified Class 1 driver who is safety-focused and knowledgeable in the National Safety Code regulations for Commercial Motor Vehicles. You must have time-management abilities, practice due diligence, and have a sense of accountability due to day-to-day working environment involving minimal direct supervision.

The position of Class 1 driver is offered as full time and will be a 4 day/week position with weekends and Wednesdays off. If you are contacted you will be required to provide an up-to-date abstract, printed within 30 days.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operating tractor units as far north as Ponoka, Alberta
• Responsible for transporting live poultry from plant to farms
• Good practice in sanitation and cleaning procedures of trucks

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• A Minimum of 3 years issued Class 1 license
• A Clean Commercial Driver’s Abstract printed within 30 days
• A minimum of 3 years working experience with references
• Provincial/Federal Daily Driver’s Log experience required
• Your Resume with 3 years of working experience with references

*Maintenance/Heavy Duty repair experience is an asset

*Experience with transporting livestock is an asset

*Positive attitude and work ethic
