Skills:
- 6 months - 1 year of experience
- Work through all phases from demolition to finishing (Able to think ahead to the finishing details while in the demo and framing stages).
- Experience in framing with wood and steel studs, window and door installation, and building envelope work an asset
- Drywall experience is an asset.
- Experience with woodworking and finishing an asset.
- Work well independently and as part of a team.
- Must be organized and able to keep work area clean.
- Able to take direction and follow through on instructions.
- Willing to learn and have a "Can do" attitude.
Requirements:
- Be able to stand and/or be on their feet most of the day
- Must be able to work in outdoor weather
- Able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Use proper lifting techniques for heavy items weighing more than 25 kilograms.
