Who You Are

  • You should be analytical, collaborative, and trustworthy.
  • As a Budgeting Analyst with 1-2 years experience, you should possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and budgeting tools.
  • You should be ethical, thorough, and attentive with excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

What You Will Do

Reporting to the Finance Controller, the Budget Analyst will support the finance team in budget preparation, analysis, and reporting. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or entry-level candidate looking to gain experience in budgeting and financial analysis.

  • Experience using VENA (tool) and budgeting tools.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain budget tracking tools.
  • Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Collect and analyze financial data to support budget preparation.
  • Prepare and distribute budget reports to various departments.
  • Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.
  • Collaborate with department managers to understand budget needs, expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Accounts Payable, (enter AP invoices, verify vendor invoice with PO)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or related field.
  • 6months -2 years experience in the financial industry.
  • Must have experience using VENA tool.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent Excel skills and proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
