The Other Bird is a hospitality family that includes The Mule, Rapscallion & Co. (Hamilton, ON), Burro (Burlington, ON), The Mule, Hunter & Co. (London, ON), The Mule (Port Dover), and The Mule (Cambridge, ON).

The Job:

• Providing personable and efficient service to all guests, and ensuring all guests leave with an experience that will make them want to keep coming back.
• Be knowledgeable of all current cocktail, wine, and beer selections & specials, including ingredients, specs, recipes, and presentations.
• Confident in guiding guests in making the best decisions on what to order based on their preferences.
• Seamlessly working with other staff to balance all responsibilities on a daily basis.
• Contribute ideas to help keep Rapscallion's bar menu fresh and exciting.
• Work collaboratively with other bartenders in fostering a creative & fun work environment.

Ideally, You Have Experience / Education:

• Beyond anything else, we are looking for someone with; a positive attitude, who is team-oriented, and an outgoing personality who enjoys interacting with people.
• Minimum 2 years of restaurant bartending experience, specifically working in craft cocktailing or with craft beer, is required.
• Smart Serve Certification is required.
• Experience operating Silverware POS is an asset.
