To Live For Bakery is on the hunt for a part-time assistant-packer (roughly 15 to 20 hours a week) to begin asap. Compensation is $17/hour to start.
We're looking for someone who:
- has a sense of urgency / strong work ethic
- has a food safe certificate
- has a positive / can-do attitude
- has a flexible schedule and is comfortable with a part-time afternoon/evening job
- is trustworthy / values integrity
- is physically strong / comfortable with heavy lifting
- has experience reading instructions
A little more about us...we are an eleven-year-old 100% plant-based bakery with a mission to prove that animal-free baking is is better. We want to replace the factory farm-filled baked goods on cafe and grocery store shelves.
We make everything by hand and are located in lower Main Street neighbourhood (very close to the Terminal Sky Train station) in a shared industrial kitchen (without a retail storefront). In the next year we may be relocating. The space is big and friendly thanks to our many neighbours, who are small artisan companies.
Shifts start at 4 pm, Monday to Thursday, typically 3 to 6 hours depending on orders.
