What you’ll do

The Associate Product Manager, In Store Digital will ensure successful delivery of projects that will impact and support Stores, Digital, eCommerce Fulfilment and Operations teams with process improvements, software and/or hardware projects. This role will ensure that proper objective and goal setting takes place, will drive the team to meet milestones, remain within budget and ensure quality delivery that supports sustainability, profitability, and exceptional customer experience. Moreover, this role will provide proper project management processes and techniques to create an efficient and structured approach.

The Associate Product Manager, In Store Digital will gather cross-functional requirements for assigned projects to track and ensure their delivery. They will also aid in development of project plans and ensure that all projects and status reporting is completed on time. Other responsibilities include:

  • Working with business and IT project teams’ stakeholders to scope, size and articulate project concepts into clear project objectives, scope and viable delivery approaches and plans

  • Develop effective working relationships with your immediate team to effectively articulate the goals and the business justification for your current project

  • Designing and building processes and controls to integrate new capabilities sustainably into the business of CTR

  • Developing project plans at a task, milestone, and resource level

  • Adhering to a structured, Agile project management methodology

  • Ability to gather product data, including analytics, consumer, and market insights

  • Determining improvements to product features and coordinating findings with product team and aligning it with business goals

  • Clearly articulate digital feature requirements and write specifications for development

  • 3rd Party Relationship Management. Managing the vendor RFP process in partnership with Vendor Management where necessary. Vendor negotiations, contract discussions and commitments

  • Frequently presenting to store Dealers and Executives on project details

  • Maintaining and encourage open lines of communication between groups/functional areas/team members

  • Partner cross functionally to facilitate decision-making, propose alternative solutions, and help identify gaps in our product and our business

  • Taking the initiative and the lead for identifying and resolving issues

  • Engaging the team on an ongoing basis to identify project issues, project risks, contingency plans and implications and manage those activities

What you bring

  • Experience in Fulfillment, Order Management, Store Operations, Digital or eCommerce

  • Strong retail and/or eCommerce background, with knowledge of eCommerce technologies considered an asset

  • 5+ years project experience with 2+ years of experience managing medium to large, complex projects using a disciplined agile approach to project management

  • Experience in creating project cost benefit analyses, presenting project budgets, assumptions; ability to attend to management queries related to project budget

  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to present project details while actively listening and engaging with Dealers to gather requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, providing great insights and recommendations

  • Proven ability to develop effective cross-organization relationships, collaborating and communicating across businesses and technology stakeholders

  • Highly organized and adept at prioritization - Recognize and keep track of all the moving pieces in projects, adjusting to new information, goals, and conflicting product priorities

  • First-class influencing skills, including experience working within a large matrix organization

  • An excellent communicator, with the ability to engage, influence, inspire partners to drive collaboration and alignment

  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence is considered an asset
