The Assistant to the Executive Director will be repsonsible for social media accounts for the organization (6 departments) as well as administering the volunteer program and helping with fundraising. This role will require the individual to be willing and capable of woring in other departments: The Door of Hope Soup Kitchen, the Meadow Lake Food Bank, ThriftHOPEia Variety Store, The Hope Center apartments.
Additionally the individual filling this position must be capable of office duties including answering calls, filing out applications for grants/funding, sending faxes, assistingour community as needed and filling in as a "float" to assist in other departments as needed.
The applicant for this position must be organized and proficient with computers and specifically Canva. Education and previous experience are an asset but not required, but applicants with education/experience will have favour.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
