About the role
- Ability to work with others not only to build and strip engines but to suggest and improve the way we work
- Engine and module assembly/disassembly of Turbine engines
- Turbine engine inspection and certification
- Balancing (single plain or dynamic) of rotors and modules
- May transport parts, components, modules and/or engines from one workstation/centre to another
- May perform cleaning of parts, provided that employee possesses work competency to perform such tasks in cleaning and blasting
- Possibility of shift work and change of shifts.
What you bring to the role
- Diploma in aircraft maintenance / mechanic
- All applicable qualifications need to meet current company work requirements.
- Ability to read and understand instructions in English.
- A medical examination will be a condition of employment, in order to assess the candidate's ability to perform required tasks according to the physical demands of the position.
Additional skills desired for the role
- Engine build of Turbine engines
- Electrical Harness repair experience, blueprint and technical manual reading and understanding are bonus.
