We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Accountant for a permanent role in the Brampton area. The Manufacturing Accountant will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the manufacturing process, including cost analysis, inventory management, and production planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience in the manufacturing industry.

Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30pm

Salary $57,000-$62,000/year

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain cost accounting system for the manufacturing process
• Analyze production costs and provide recommendations for cost savings
• Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate valuation of inventory
• Develop and maintain financial reports to track production costs, inventory levels, and other key performance indicators
• Work closely with production team to develop production plans and budgets
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
• Monitor and report on variances between actual and budgeted results
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting and finance, with at least 1 year in manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices
• Experience with inventory management and valuation
