FSEAP’s Account Managers are responsible for ensuring the delivery of exceptional EFAP account and workplace consultation services to our client organizations within BC/Yukon, and the continued growth and profitability of FSEAP’s book of business. This position also serves as a member of the business development team for FSEAP Vancouver and is responsible for generation of new business leads and participating in business development and sales initiatives.
FSEAP is a social enterprise of Family Services of Greater Vancouver (FSGV). At FSGV, we’ve been helping people in crisis since 1928. As a non-profit we help people develop skills and knowledge and empower our neighbours to create positive change in their lives. More than 420 staff, including expert counsellors and support workers, help youth experiencing homelessness, families and children impacted by trauma, victims of domestic violence, and other vulnerable people from an evidence-based, trauma-informed lens — all while providing compassionate, client-centered care.

Work Hours: Typical hours are 35 hrs ; Monday- Friday; 9 -5pm (Role may be flexible)
Salary: FT Salary range $60,697.00 – 67,303.60

Location: This role can be done in a hybrid model with some in person and some remote work. Our office is in the culturally vibrant Vancouver neighbourhood of Commercial Drive & East Broadway. In addition, some occasional travel in BC and the Yukon will be required.
What you bring:
Account Management:
  • Developing long-term strategic partnerships with accounts by providing exceptional customer service; Preparing and presenting utilization data and quality assurance reports and recommendations to organizational clients; Evaluating programs and developing annual customer EFAP strategy and promotional plans; and Maintaining up-to-date client information, event records, and documents in our customer database
Business Development:
  • Writing service and pricing proposals and contributing to detailed responses to RFPs and RFIs; Business development, including prospecting (lead generation), qualifying leads, creating/building relationships, and converting those leads into clients, sometimes over a long sales cycle; Preparing marketing and promotional collateral; and Networking and prospecting at industry events.
General Leadership:
  • As a member of FSEAP Vancouver’s management team, participating in strategic and marketing planning, SWOT analysis, program development, new product and service development, risk assessment and management, and quality assurance activities.
Education, Training, Experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years client relationship management, business development, and/or consulting experience, preferably in EAP, mental health, human resources, training & development, or healthcare industries. Other combinations of training/experience considered.
  • Additional training or experience in workplace mental health and wellness, psychological health & safety, or Psychological First Aid is an asset
  • Advanced PC & MS Office Skills, ability to work with database & CRM systems.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Exceptional relationship building, communication, presentation, and analytic skills.
  • Self-motivated, well organized.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong business development, relationship sales, and influencing skills.
  • Values-based approach to business and client service
Additional Requirements
  • Degree in Social Sciences/Psychology, HR, Training & Development, or related field (Masters preferred)
  • Additional training or experience in workplace mental health and wellness, psychological health & safety, and/or critical incident stress management/trauma response, is considered a significant asset.
  • Driver’s licence required.
  • Successful completion of criminal record check
  • Proof of Covid-19 vaccination status will be required
