5 Ton Truck Driver (short haul) **(day shifts)** Job at NOR PEL INC
Nor-Pel Inc. is looking for a part time Day shift truck driver to haul mail from Dryden to various outlying locations
HIRING FOR 3 RUNS A WEEK (3 full runs at $300/day) WITH POSSIBILITY FOR MORE IF INTERESTED AND AVAILABLE
***Flexible and also open to hiring 2-3 staff that want to work 1-2 days a week each ***
5 Ton experience required
Light to moderate physical work involved in sorting/loading/unloading
Air brake license is not required however it is definitely an asset
Must be able to pass a security clearance (criminal check) as per Canada Post requirements
Clean drivers abstract preferred
We have a variety of Day runs from Dryden to Red Lake, Sioux Look Out, Rainy River, and Pickle lake. Looking for someone interested in 3 scheduled days a week with the possibility to be a spare driver for vacation coverage if interested.
Most runs are paid a flat rate depending on distance and work load (approximately $300/run) wage depending on length of trip
MUST BE COMFORTABLE AND CONFIDENT ON NORTHERN ONTARIO HIGHWAYS IN A VARIETY OF ROAD AND WEATHER CONDITIONS.
